Hello Friends!
I am Carlo Linetti. It is a great honour for me to address you as the new International President of our fellowship. I was born in 1959 and I am a proud father of two daughters and one son. I live in Brescia in beautiful Lombardy in the north of Italy, not far from Lake Garda and the Dolomite Mountains. I have been a Rotarian since 2000, and my connection with IFMR began in 2005 when I became a member of the Italy Chapter (AMRI). I had the honour of serving as Chapter President from 2017 to 2023.
Additionally, I am an active member of G.R.O.C., a Rotary professional group dedicated to road safety, where I hold a special delegation for motorcycle safety. My passion for motorcycles started in childhood in 1973, inspired by my father, and today I own several Ducati motorcycles for both road and track use. As International President, my goal is to share my complete 360-degree motorcycling experience through a two-way exchange, promoting friendship, safety, international openness, and inclusiveness. Hello everyone,
I am Rtn. Prashanth Babu S.J, 54 years young, and it is my honour and privilege to represent IFMR as the International Secretary. Professionally, I am a travel consultant operating global motorcycle tours and travelling remains my personal passion. My Rotary journey began in 1993. I served as Charter President of Rotaract Bangalore East End and later as President of the Rotary Club of Bangalore Down Town (RID 3190) in 2018-2019. I also served as IFMR India President during the 2020-2021 term.
A passionate rider since the age of 16, I now have 38 years of motorcycling experience. Highlights of my riding journey include crossing the Khardung La Pass (5602 m), completing the Iron Butt twice, and riding 14,000 km across the USA in 2017 with my wife to support girl child education under Rotary’s Literacy Mission. As International Secretary, I look forward to working alongside Carlo Linetti to strengthen our fellowship and increase interaction across chapters.
